TRIBUTUM

Brazil → Abroad

Selling abroad takes more than a good product: tariffs, rules of origin, registrations and corporate structure decide the margin.

Tributum gets your company ready here: tariffs, export taxation, documentation and registrations. In the United States and Europe, Orbe Prime, our group's international structure, can be your operation: it imports and sells as the seller of record, so you don't need to set up a company or open an account abroad.

The international corridor with Orbe Prime

Selling in the US and Europe takes two things that are rarely in the same place: someone to handle the Brazilian side of the export, and someone to answer for the product on the other side.

In Brazil

Tributum

  • Exposure to US tariffs and the exclusions that apply
  • Export taxation and documentation, including consignment exports
  • Preferences and rules of origin on the European Union route
  • FDA registration and labeling, when the product requires them
  • US LLC compliance, once the operation has its own structure

In the US and Europe

Orbe Prime

  • Seller of record on US and European marketplaces
  • Import and custody of the inventory in the US through Orbe Alliance LLC, in Florida, with import costs paid by you
  • Consignment at a base price: the product is yours until it sells
  • Sales tax collected by Orbe Alliance LLC in the US, with customer service and after-sales
  • FDA US agent through Orbe Alliance LLC, including registration renewals
  • In Europe, product compliance, such as CE marking where required, is part of the operation

Orbe Prime belongs to the same group as Tributum. Consulting and operations are hired and billed separately, and you can use just one of them.

How it works, step by step

From your factory to the buyer in the US or Europe, every step has an owner. You manufacture and set the base price; the rest of the way is covered.

    Orbe Prime

    Import and custody

Orbe Alliance LLC imports the batch and holds the inventory on consignment. Import costs and custody insurance are paid by you.

  6. 6

    Orbe Prime

    Sales as seller of record

Orbe Prime sells on US and European marketplaces; in the US, Orbe Alliance LLC collects sales tax and handles after-sales.

  7. 7

    Orbe Prime · Payout

    Base-price payout

You receive the base price for every unit sold. Whatever doesn't sell comes back to you.

The Orbe Prime model

  • Seller of record

The marketplace accounts, custody and management belong to Orbe Prime. You don't open an account anywhere: the marketplace relationship is Orbe Prime's.

  • No joining fee, no monthly fee

Orbe Prime earns a markup on the base price, and only when the product sells. Import costs and custody insurance are paid by you.

  • Consignment at a base price

You keep ownership of the products until they sell and set the price you need to receive. Inventory that doesn't sell comes back to you.

  • Fully traceable

Every operation is recorded in OrbeTrade OS, the group's platform, from shipment to payout.

Custody insurance is purchased at the client's expense. Payout timing, return of inventory and all other terms are as set in the consignment contract, signed before the first shipment.

The five-axis pre-assessment

When the operation grows

If sales justify your own structure abroad, the transition is planned: channels, brand and inventory move to your company. If that structure is a US LLC, Tributum handles its compliance and the annual calculation required in Brazil.

Tributum services for exporters

  • US tariff desk

Since July 22, 2026, the US has applied additional tariffs to part of Brazil's exports, with significant exclusions. We map your product's exposure, the exclusions that apply and alternative routes.

    Updated on Oct 23, 2026
  • European Union route

The Mercosur–EU agreement has been provisionally applied since May 1, 2026, with tariffs coming down gradually. We identify the preferences and rules of origin for your product.

    Updated on Oct 23, 2026
  • US LLC compliance

Since April 2026, Brazil's Federal Revenue Service treats transparent US LLCs with members who are not US residents as a privileged tax regime (Cosit Ruling 56/2026). For a member resident in Brazil, profit is now taxed annually, calculated under Brazilian accounting standards, whether or not it is distributed. We run the assessment and the annual calculation.

  • FDA US agent

Foreign food facilities registered with the FDA must name a US agent, and the registration is renewed every even-numbered year. Orbe Alliance LLC, our group's US entity, can act as your agent and handle the renewals.
